She stated that stafi. feels the City would <br />benefit from the proposed rezoning because it would <br />provide the environmental controls (i.e. hardcover) <br />within the LR-2A zone, which they do not have in the RR- <br />lA zone. Staff feels the City should pursue the <br />rezoning, in the event that the applicant wishes to <br />withdraw his application. <br />Gary Peterson stated that after amending the request, <br />the applicant does not really benefit by the rezoning. <br />Mr. McDowell stated they are unsure of their direction <br />at this time and that the only reason they are <br />con: ^nuing to pursue this request is because the Miner's <br />wou* i like the sale of the entire property concluded as <br />soo. as possible. He requested that the Planning <br />Comm:.ssion table this matter. <br />There were no corments from the public. <br />It w„s moved by Cliairman Kelley, seconded by Bellows, to <br />tabli this application at this time.
