Agenda <br />Planning Commission Meeting <br />Monday, September 18, 2023, 6:00 P.M. <br />Orono Council Chambers, 2780 Kelley Parkway, Orono, MN 55356 <br />952-249-4600 / www.oronomn.gov <br />Audience Members: <br />Information regarding each of the Agenda items is available on the City website (www.oronomn.gov) under Agendas <br />Minutes & Videos and in the Public Packet — located in the lobby near the entrance. <br />Applicants will be asked to move to the lectern to answer questions after staff presents the application. <br />The Planning Commission is an advisory body to the City Council. If action is taken on any items on this agenda, they <br />will be scheduled for an upcoming City Council meeting. A quorum of the City Council may be in attendance of a <br />Planning Commission meeting to hear comments made, though no action or deliberation of the Council will occur. <br />Council Representative: Maria Veach <br />Pledge of Allegiance <br />Approval of Agenda <br />Approval of Minutes: August 21, 2023 <br />Public Hearings: <br />1. LA23-000046 Rebecca Holzem, 3407 Eastlake Street, requests variances for average lakeshore setback, <br />75 -foot lake setback, hardcover, and hardcover within the 75 -foot lake setback for the <br />construction of a deck. (Staff: Natalie Nye) <br />2. LA23-000047 Erica Hway — Landschute, 2245 French Lake Road, requests variances from the 150 -foot lake <br />setback and hardcover within the 150 -foot lake setback for the construction of a new house. <br />(Staff: Natalie Nye) <br />3. LA23-000048 Sharratt Design & Company, 3548 Ivy Place, requests variances for lot area, lot width, and <br />hardcover in conjunction with construction of a new home. (Staff: Melanie Curtis) <br />4. LA23-000049 Stonewood, 3001 Casco Point Road, requests an after -the -fact average lakeshore setback <br />variance for a roofed porch. (Staff: Melanie Curtis) <br />5. LA23-000052 Revis Stephenson, 3760 Watertown Road, requests a variance for the placement of a new <br />oversized accessory building streetward of the principal building.
