Applicant proposes a warehouse retail use and <br />the Orono code does not specifically address retail use <br />within the industrial zone. <br />Present representing Northern Hydraulics were: Attorney <br />Paul Hauge, John Rose, Dave LaPort, and Rob White. <br />Mr. Hauge explained the proposed operation (as outlined <br />in Exhibit D inlcuded in staff memo) and site plan. In <br />summary, they contend that the proposed operation is <br />allowed within Orono's Industrial zone finding that it <br />is not strictly a retail operation because they would be <br />dealing with industrial and commercial consumers. <br />Joe Pollansch of Washington Scientific Industries voiced <br />concern with the impact on the existing hazardous access <br />onto Highway 12. <br />11
