The proposal as dnigpied results in a lot configuration that meets the definition of a frontback lot subdivision. The definition of "back lot" per Section 10.02 and Section 11.03, Subd. 2 is "a lot typically separated from a public or private road by another lot and which gains access to the public or private road via a narrow corridor. Such a separated lot is consider^ to be a 'back lot’ when the corridor is platted as an outlot. A separated lot is considered to be a 'flag lot' when the corridor is platted as part of the lot. When the corridor is merely an easement over another lot, the separated lot is considered to be an 'easement back lot’". Section 11.30, Subd. 5(C) states that flag lots and easement back lots as defined in this chapter sh.^H not be created.
