T <br />CITY of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. ^ ^ ^ 9_____ <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING <br />VARIANCES TO NHJNTCIPAL ZONING CODE <br />SECTION 10.22, SUBDIVISION 1, <br />SECTION 10.55, SUBDIMSION 8 ANT) <br />SECTION 10.56, SUBDIVISION 16 (C) AND (L), <br />AND GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />PER SECTION 10.03, SLDDIVTSION 19 <br />FILE NO. 2073 <br />WHEREAS, William Dunkley and Susan Dunklcy (hercmafter the "applicants") <br />arc the owners of the property at 2709 Walters Port Lane located within the City of Orono <br />(hereinafter "City") and legally described as follows: <br />Lot 4, Block 3, Walters Pon, Hennepin County, MinnesoU (hereinafter the "property"); <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the applicants have applied to the City for variances to Municipal <br />Zoning Code Sections 10.22, Subdivision 1, 10.55, Subdivision 8 and 10.56, Subdivision 16 (C) <br />and (L) to permit the construction of an entryway addition constituting structure and hardcov.;r <br />in the 0-75’ lakcshore setback zone where no structural hardcover are normally allowed, and <br />recjuesting similar variances for an enclosed porch and open deck located within 75 of lakesbore <br />where no structure or hardcover is normally allowed, and for a conditional use permt per <br />Section 10.03, Subdivision 19 for the reconstruction of retaining walls within the 0-75’ zone. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br />Minnesota: <br />findings <br />1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File "2073. <br />The property' is located in the LR-IB Single Family Lakeshore Residential Zoning <br />District. <br />Paae 1 of 8
