Land Alterations Zoning Code Amendment <br />November 12,1997 <br />Page 2 <br />Section 10.56 Subd. 16(JX4) regarding land alteration permits in the shoreland Overlay District, <br />is simply revised to reflect the change from 100 c.y. to 500 c.y. <br />Staff Recomaiendation <br />Staff recommends adoption of the proposed ordinance because it will give residents more flexibility <br />in conducting land alterations without the typical 2-month delay caused by the CUP process; because <br />it gives staff the authority to refer questionable projects to the Council for review; and as a side <br />benefit, may slightly reduce the number of CUP's needing processing.
