Forest Manafciment Plan.*ir <br />(a) Any person desiring approval of a Forest Management Plan as an alternative to the <br />requirements of Subd. 3 above shall submit a wrincn application to the City's <br />Community and Economic Development Department together with a filing fee as set <br />forth in Chapter V of this Code. This application shall include the followmg <br />information: <br />Name and addi-ess of applicant. <br />(2) <br />(3) <br />(4) <br />Status of applicant with respect to the land. <br />Written consent of the owner of the land, if applicant is not the owner. <br />Name of person preparing any map, drawing or diagram submined with the <br />application. <br />(5) <br />(6) <br />Location of the property, including a street address and legal description. <br />Measure and map the parcel of land, specifically designating all forested <br />areas, the e.xisting and proposed use of such areas, and actual dimensions of <br />the ureas. <br />Location of all proposed or existing structures, roadsi utilities, and drivewr y <br />on the site. <br />A written narrative describing the activities to be undertaken, the reasons for <br />developing the plan, specific actions proposed by the Forest Management <br />Plan, and how tbo.se actions and activities will benefit the forest m an urban <br />amenity (rather than tlieir value for lumber or some oUier wonomic pui|ws«). <br />Specific examples of such benefit include, but ure not limited to, better forest <br />management (thinning or removal of certain tree species), improved wildlife <br />habitat, creation of forest products (tree farming), recreation use, outdoor <br />education, trails, and energy conservation. <br />The Community and Economic Development Director may, in addition, require the <br />applicant for approval of a Forest Management Plan to supp^: <br />A site plan specify mg the methods to be used to preserve all remaining trees <br />and their root systems. <br />(2)Such other information as the Community and Economic Development <br />Director deems necessary for review of the proposed Plan. <br />I . <br />J
