CITY OF ORONO <br />GENERAL LAND USE APPLICATION <br />CSAH 6; COUNTY PROJECT 9444 <br />S.A.P. 27-606-15 <br />PURPOSE: To supplement the City of Orono General Land Use Application which is <br />required due to the grading and filling of wetlands. <br />The purpose of the proposed project is to improve public safety by the reconstruction of <br />CSAH 6, adding turn lanes, bypass lanes, paved shoulders and consolidating access in <br />accordance with current design and safet> standards. The attached permit application <br />requests a wetland permit from the Army Corps of Engineers in addition to the <br />Conditional Use Permit and fully summarizes wetland delineation, impacts, and <br />mitigation. <br />Upon the City of Orono’s Planning and Zoning Commission review, Hennepin County <br />respectfully requests that this Land Use Permit be granted and recommended for city <br />council approval at the September fifteenth council meeting. <br />Attachments inc’nde the following: <br />• Completed application form. <br />• Certified property owners list with mailing labels and plat map. <br />Existing and proposed contours (see plan sheets 3-8). <br />Construction plan. <br />City of Orono approved Layout 3 (colored). <br />! i 1
