Proposed Vacation <br />Applicants propose the vacation of a 20’x409' dedicated right-of-way adjacent to the Luce <br />Line trail. This right-of-way is a lane which was never developed for road or driveway <br />purposes, and the City is currently unaware of any utility making use of this right-of-way. <br />The utility companies have been notified of this request, and no responses have been <br />received to date. The City has no defined need fci this right-of-way, and given its <br />topography would appear to serve no drainage, access or other purpose. There is a 36" <br />culvert leading from the west end of this right-of-way northward under the Luce Line. This <br />culvert would appear to fall within the standard 10’ drainage and utility easement that w'ould <br />be required around the perimeter as part of the plat approval. <br />Staff Recommendation : Staff recommends approval of the vacation as proposed, <br />subject to the standard drainage and utility easements required at the time of plat approval. <br />II.
