TO;Chair Lindquist and Orono Planning Commission Members <br />Ron Moorse, City Administrator <br />FROM:Liz Van Zomeren, City Planner/Zoning Administrator <br />DATE:August 7, 1997 <br />SUBJECT: #2270 Marcia and Kenneth Hickey <br />4640 Tonkaview Lane <br />Conditional Use Permit, Variances-Public Hearing <br />Zoning Dutrict: LR-IB One Family Lakeshore Residential District (1 Acre) <br />Lot Area:46,938 square feet (1.08 acres) <br />Application: <br />The applicants are proposing the construction of a 26' by 38' (988 sq. ft.) detached garage and <br />additional concrete driveway in front of the existing residence. The proposed height of the garage <br />is 24 feet, where the height of the existing residence is 13 feet. Variances are needed for locating <br />a garage in front of a principal structure and side yard setback.
