Agreement No. PW 53-08-96 <br />County Project No. 9444 <br />County State Aid Highway No. 6 <br />City of Orono <br />County of Hennepin <br />CONSTRUCTION COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT <br />THIS AGREENENT, Made and entered into this _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ <br />_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _, 19 _ _, by and between the County of Hennepin, a body <br />day of <br />politic and corporate under the laws of the State of Minnesota, hereinafter <br />referred to as the "County", and the City of Orono, a body politic and <br />corporate under the laws of the State of Minnesota, hereinafter referred to as <br />the "City". <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, The County and the City have been negotiating to bring about the <br />improvements of that portion of County State Aid Highway (CSAH) No. G, from <br />west of Town Line Road to east of Orono Park Road as shown on the County <br />Engineer’s plans for County Project No. 9444, which improvements contemplate <br />and include grading, drainage, concrete curb and gutter, bituminous surfacing, <br />right of way and other related improvements; and <br />WHEREAS, The above mentioned construction of CSAH 6 shall be identified <br />as County Project No. 9444 (a.k.a. SAP 27-606-15), hereinafter referred to as <br />the "Project"; and <br />WHEREAS, The City has expressed willingness to participate In the <br />construction cost of said Project; and <br />WHEREAS, The above described Project lies within the corporate limits of <br />the Cities of Orono and Independence, and <br />WHEREAS, The County and its agent have heretofore prepared an Engineer’s <br />Estimate of quantities and unit prices for the construction contract work of <br />the above described Project in the amount of Three Million Two Hundred Ninety <br />Three Thousand Dollars and No Cents ($3,293,000.00). A copy of said estimate <br />is included in Exhibit "A", which is attached hereto and by this reference <br />- 1 -
