A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FINAL PLANS AND THE <br />CONSTRUCTION COOPERATIVE: AGREEMENT FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION <br />OF CSAH 6 FROM WEST OF TOWNLINE ROAD TO WEST OF TH 12 <br />PROJECT tt9A4A <br />MUEREAS, the preliminary layout (Layout No. 03) of Hennepin County Project No. <br />9444, showing proposed improvements to County State Aid Highway No. 6 has been approved <br />by the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the County has prepared detail plans and specifications for said <br />improvement; and <br />VV'HEREAS, the County has prepared a Construction Cooperative Agreement for said <br />improvement; and <br />WHEREAS, the Hennepin County Department of Public Works’ Policies for Cost <br />Participation Between Hennepin county and Other Agencies for Cooperative Highway Projects <br />addresses the utilization of tax increment financing on County projects by municipalities; and <br />WHEREAS, this improvement does not provide adequate width for on-roadway parking. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved, by the Oiono City Council that the final <br />plans and construction cooperative agreement for CSAH 6 improvement project <1^9444 be <br />approved and that the County is hereby authorized by the City to acquire all rights of way, <br />permits and/or easements required for said improvements in accordance with the final plans; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the city will not use tax increment financing for <br />any portion of the project cost; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that parking shall be banned within the project limits <br />on CSAH 6. <br />Adopted by the Orono City Council on this 9th day of December, 1996. <br />ATTEST:Edward J.
