DRAFT <br />Agreement No. PW 52-08-96 <br />County Project No. 9222 <br />County State Aid Highway No. 15 <br />City of Orono <br />County of Hennepin <br />CONSTRUCTION COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT <br />day ofTHIS AGREEMENT, Made and entered into this _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ <br />,19 , by and between the County of Hennepin, a body <br />politic and corporate under the laws of the State of Minnesota, hereinafter <br />referred to as the "County", and the City of Orono, a body politic and <br />corporate under the laws of the State of Minnesota, hereinafter referred to as <br />the "City". <br />WITNESSHH: <br />WHEREAS, The County and the City have been negotiating to bring about the <br />improvement of that portion of County State Aid Highway (CSAH) No. 15, between <br />200 meters west of Orono Orchard Road and the easterly intersection of <br />Hillside Drive as shown on the County Engineer’s plans for County Project No. <br />9222, which improvement contemplates and includes grading, drainage, concrete <br />curb and gutter, bituminous surfacing, right of way and other related <br />improvements; and <br />WHEREAS, The above mentioned construction of CSAH 15 shall be identified <br />as County Project No. 9222, (a.k.a. SAP 27-615-15) hereinafter referred to as <br />the "Project"; and <br />WHEREAS, The City has expressed willingness to participate in the <br />construction cost of said Project; and <br />WHEREAS, The above described Project lie within the corporate <br />1imits of the City, and <br />WHEREAS, The County and its agent have heretofore prepared Engineer’s <br />Estimates of quantities and unit prices for the construction contract work of <br />the above described Project in the amount of Two Million One Hundred Sixty Six <br />Thousand Four Hundred Dollars and No Cents ($2,166,400.00).
