I.MnDOT to rebuild the current Highway 12 corridor to bring it up to the <br />current road standards. As a part of that construction; bury power lines <br />along the corridor and install decorative lighting similar to that now from <br />Martha Lane to Willow Drive including curb and gutter as appropriate, <br />replace the existing Luce Line Bridge that spans Highway 12 at east end <br />of City of Long Lake. <br />J. Mn/DOT to purchase the Fleming Addition from the City of Long Lake for <br />the purpose of providing a source of fill for sound barriers, a location for <br />a storm water pond, and such other land use as may be required with <br />control returning to the City of Long Lake after the project. <br />K. Mn/DOT to replace the Long Lake Fire Station and City Hall at a location <br />south cf the Railroad at Brown Road. <br />L. Mn/DOT to replace and upsize the sewer trunk line currently located in <br />the railroad right-of-way to meet projected needs of Long Lake and <br />Orono. <br />M. MnDOT to construct a “regional" stormwater ponding facility. This facility <br />would be sized to serve the ponding needs of the proposed Highway 12 <br />roadway, the projected needs of the commercial, industrial, and <br />residential areas of Long Lake and handle the current and projected <br />stormwater flow from Orono into and through Long Lake. Further, that <br />MnDOT construct the storm sewer lines necessary to carry the <br />stormwater from the commercial, industrial and affected residential areas <br />to the regional pond facility. <br />N. MnDOT to provide signage at the east and west turnoffs into Long Lake <br />wh'ch will show services that are available by turning off the main <br />corridor. <br />Highway 12 <br />New AltemaUves <br />10/03/9612.37 PM
