Discussion ensued with revisions to be made as requested by the <br />Board of Education. <br />Motion carried. <br />UPON MOTION by Dick Lewis, seconded by Jack Veach, the Board of <br />Education approved the plan for sharing the Board's Facilities <br />Assumptions with the community as presented. <br />By way of explanation. Dr. Mich stated that Martha Van de Ven, Dick <br />Lewis and he had met and their recommendation is as follows: <br />— That an open forum be held in each of the six cities <br />within the boundaries of the School District allowing for <br />better dialogue and greater opportunity for <br />participation. These meetings will be conducted by the <br />Board liaison to that city along with a second Board <br />member and a representative from the administrative <br />staff. Meetings will also be held with government <br />officials, the ministerial alliance as well as <br />representatives from the Early Childhood Family Education <br />program. <br />Dr. Mich stated that a packet will be developed for use at these <br />open forums. <br />Motion carried. <br />Dr. Mich stated that the October 1 Enrollment data is provided to <br />the Board for informat ion?. purposes. No questions/comments were <br />made. <br />UPON MOTION by Peg Swanson, seconded by Jack Veach, the meeting was <br />adjourned. Motion carried.
