Payment of Taxes. Lessee shall pay and discharge as they become due. <br />promptly and before delinquency, all ta.xes, assessments, rates, charges, license fees, <br />municipal liens, lev ies, excises, or imposts which may be levied, assessed, charged or <br />imposed, or which may become a lien or charge on or against; (1) the demised premises. <br />or any part of the demised premises; (2) the leasehold interest of Lessee in and under this <br />Agreement; (3) any building or buildings, or any other improvements now existing or <br />hereafter constructed on the demised premises: or (4) Lesseeās estate created by this <br />Agreement. <br />B. Contesting Taxes. If Lessee shall in good faith desire to contest the validity <br />M amount of any tax, assessment, levy, or other governmental charge r.f < if« this <br />section to be paid by Lessee, Lessee shall be permitted to do so, but only to the extent <br />doing so in no way compromises the interests of Lessor. In the event Lessee desires to <br />contest any such tax, assessment, levy, or charge.
