The problem <br />was that the former owner had installed a driveway that was partially on city property. Mr. <br />Handlin requested that he be allowed to acquire the portion of the city property on which the <br />driveway was installed to resolve the problem. The City Council approved this solution. <br />The parcel has now been subdivided to create a separate parcel to be acquired by Mr. Handlin. <br />Because the city property was acquired through the tax forfeit process, the city can not directly <br />sell the property to Mr. Handlin. The propeny needs to be reconveyed to the County for sale <br />to adjacent property owners. The attached resolution accomplishes this reconveyance. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Motion to adopt the attached resolution authorizing the reconveyance of a portion of a tax forfeit <br />parcel to the County for sale to adjacent property owners.
