John has now officially <br />submitted his resignation to be effective January 31, 1997. His letter of resignation is attached. <br />As Public Works Director, John Gerhardson has played an important role in providing for the <br />infrastructure needs mx city during a time of substantial new development. John is currently <br />playing an important i '■-y *n developing and car. j ing out plans for maintaining the infrastructure <br />that has been developed over the past 35 years. This is sure to keep him busy right up to his <br />last day with the (-r;. <br />COUNCIL ACTION liEQUESTED <br />Motion to accept the resignation of John Gerhardson as Public Works Director effective January <br />31, 1997. <br />1
