Applicant has filed for a setback variance that would allow an oversized <br />accessory structure at 1,260 s.f to be placed 15' in front of the front line of the existing <br />residence located 86’ from the front'street lot line. The 3.92 acre property would be allowed <br />a 1,600 s.f. oversized accessory structure. The property would also be allowed a total of 3,200 <br />s.f. of accessory structure area. Applicant proposes a total of 1,740 s.f No other variances <br />are required. <br />Applicant's hardships are listed on Page 2 of the staff memo of July 10, 1996. The Planning <br />Commission members found the hardships valid and unanimously approved the variance <br />application as proposed. The enclosed approval resolution has been drafted per the findings <br />and conditions of the Planning Commission recommendation. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />To adopt or amend the enclosed approval resolution.
