CITY of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO 3 4 <br />A RESOIAfTION GRANTING PRLUMINARY <br />APPROVAL FOR A PI.AT AT <br />4645/4665 BAYSIDE ROAD <br />- FILE NO. 1967 <br />WHEREAS, Robert S. Oison of 4645 Baysidc Road. Irvin Gcffrc of 4665 <br />Baysidc Road and K-P Propcrlies Inc. represented by Donald R. Peterson on August 26. 1994, <br />filed a formal subdivision application v/ith the City for approval of a residential plat of properly <br />legally described a.s: <br />L«'ts 1 aiid 2, Block 1. Bay view Farms, Hennepin County, Minnesota (hereinafter <br />the property ’’); and*•#1 <br />WHEREAS, after due published and mailed notice in accordance with Minnesota <br />Statutes 462.353 ct. seci. and the City of Orono’.s Zoning and Subdivision Codes, the Orono <br />Planning Commission held a public hearing on September 19, 1994, at which time all person.s <br />desiring to be b.ea.rd concerning this application were given the opportunity to speak ihca'on; and <br />WHEREAS, the applicants .sub.sequenlly revised their proposal which was <br />reviewed by llie Planning Commission at their regular njceiing of October 17, 1994, at which <br />time Planning CciniTiission on a vote of 7 to 0 recommended approval of llic revised proposal; <br />and <br />V/HEREA.S, at iheir regular meeting held on October 24, 1994, the Orono City <br />Council consiucrca the subdivision app'ic.'uiori of Robert S. Olsen, Irvin Gcflre a.nd K-P <br />Properties liic., noting the follow ing findings of fact; <br />1.Ihe property i.s located within the RR-IB, Single I'amily Rural Residential <br />Zoning District requiring a minimum of 2 acres of contiguous dry biiildable land <br />wilhin each newly created lot. <br />2.
