The approval was subject to the <br />concurrent hardcover removals of 255 s.f. in the driveway and 115 s.f. in the entry area. A <br />further condition was that the 6' x 13' lakeshore stairway platform be reduced to the normally <br />allowed maximum width of 4'. Applicant is to pay the after-the-fact variance application fee <br />of $220 and obtain the appropriate after-the-fact building permits. Staff was directed that the <br />resolution shall indicate for the benefit of current and future owners of the property as well as <br />future City Councils that this property has reached its hardcover limits. <br />A resolution is attached for Council consideration and adoption. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Make any appropriate language revisions and adopt the attached resolution to approve after-the- <br />fact hardcover variance for the deck adjacent to the house, subject to conditions noted. <br />PROPOSED MOTION; Moved by___. seconded by___, to adopt Resolution No. <br />granting variances to Municipal Zoning Code Sections 10.22, Subd. 2 and 10.56, Subd. 16 (L) <br />to allow hardcover in the 75-250 ’ zone in excess of the 25% hardcover normally allowed, for <br />property at 1810 Shad\"v\ood Road owned by Robert Albrecht.
