MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO CITY COUNCIL <br />MEETING HELD ON JULY 8, 1996 <br />(#17 - Parking On Old Crystal Bay Road - Continued) <br />Jabbour moved to authorize the no parking signs per the recommendation of Gerhardson <br />but received no second to the motion. <br />Callahan moved, Goetten seconded, to deny the request for the no parking signs at 340 <br />Old Crystal Bay Road. Vote: Ayes 3, Callahan, Goetten, Kelley; Nays 2, Jabbour, Hurt. <br />(#18) HIGHWAY 12 SAFETY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT PAYMENT <br />Moorse reported that the initial cost was based on the estimate The revised cost is based <br />on the actual costs incurred. The amount previously paid was based on the bid, and <br />Mn/DOT is requesting the difference be paid. <br />Hurr moved, Jabbour seconded, to approve payment of the additional $8,825.39 amount <br />to Mn/DOT for the Highway 12 safety improvement project, to be funded form the MSA <br />fund, and to amend the 1996 budget to reflect this expenditure. Vote; Ayes 4, Nays 0, <br />CITY ATTORN E'V ’S REPORT <br />(#19) EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />Barrett requested an E.xecutive Session. <br />(•#20) LICENSES <br />There were no licenses. <br />(•#21) BILLS <br />Jabbour moved, Goetten seconded, to approve payment of the All Funds Account.
