Wayzata, MN. 55391 <br />Position Statement on Hwy 12 Proposal <br />4/3/96 <br />The Board of Directors of the Greater Wayzata Area Chamber of <br />Commerce has approved the following position statement: <br />The Wayzata Chamber opposes the Hwy 12 option <br />to build an interchange at the intersection of Hwy 12 <br />end Ferndcle Road. From the perspective of <br />Wayzata businesses, this option would be detrimental <br />to the business community. The proposal would <br />cause traffic that may otherwise use the Hwy 12/101 <br />and Hwyl2/County Rd 15 interchanges to bypass <br />Wayzata which would have an impact on Wayzata <br />businesses, particularly retail. <br />(612) 473-9595 FAX: (612) 473-6266
