According to the records, the tot-in ooaro of Orono vacated a proposed
street location back to the land oiuners in 1912 as the avenue luas -^ever deveicped on tthls
location . *Se-? tccographicai su-vey fcr location of this undevecped street. This document i-ias
found by the Counhy Examiners Office Put they said this matter needed clarifi^ng. Northern
Avenue today lies partiuay m the railroad’s right -of+ray. and there is no legal description of the
vacated land that t-ras grven to land ovmers. The Examiners of Titles Office suggested we ask
Orono to re-vacate the land to cianfy boundaries.
In 1S62. Orono installed sewer and water to the residents of Northern Avenue. They need
as easement cf 30 feet on the vacated land 'c* these services.
It IS necessary that this -30 feet be dedicated back to the city . Please refer to the
certificate of surve^y.
So. we are agreeing that as this undeveicpec road site is vacated by the city, as the
city has ^stalled services and -eeds 30 feet of easement . i-ve wi8 dedicate 30 feet of the
vacated land back to the city of Orono,
