CITY of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. 8 5 11_____ <br />REQUESTING CONVEYANCE OF TAX <br />FORFEIT LANDS FOR PUBLIC USE <br />BY THE CITY OF ORONO <br />\^T^EREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized and existing <br />under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Stamte 282, the City has received from <br />Hennepin County a list of lands within the City which have become the property of the State of <br />Minnesota for non-payment of real estate taxes: and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said lands for compliance with local <br />zoning ordinances, for the amount of outstanding special assessment remaining unpaid to the <br />City, and/or for possible public use by the City as authorized by the statutes. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of <br />Orono, pursuant to Minnesota Statute Section 282.01, Subdivision 1, hereby applies to the <br />Hennepin County Board of Commissioners and to the Commissioner of Revenue for conveyance <br />of the following tax forfeited land to the City for public use by the City of Orono. <br />District <br />38 <br />PARCEL RETAINED FOR USE BY THE CITY <br />pj.D, Public Purpose <br />07-117-23 23 0001 Open Space <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting <br />held December 12______1994, by a vote of 3 ayes and q nays. <br />NniMei»«»r
