The vacancy created <br />by Candace Rowlette ’s resignation from the Planning Commission has been advertised in the <br />local newspaper. The city has at this point received two applications for the position. The <br />closing date for applications is March 25. Any additional applications received will be provided <br />to the Council. If the number of applications received is very small, the Council may wish to <br />consider readveriising the vacancy both in the local newspaper and in the city newsletter. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Motion to provide staff with direction regarding the next steps to take to fill the Planning <br />Commission vacancy. <br />I
