CITY of ORONO <br />RESOLUTIOiN OF THE CITY’ COUNCIL <br />NO. 8 4 5 5 <br />A RESOLUTION GR.\NTING <br />A VARIANCE AND CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />PER MU'NICIPAL ZONING CODE <br />SECTION 10.24, SU’BDIVISION 3 (A) <br />FILE NO. 1942 <br />WHEREAS, William J. Stoddard (hereinafter the "applicant ") is the 6wner of the <br />property located at 2605 Kelly Avenue within the Ciw of Orono (hereinafter "City") and legally <br />described as:/Townsite of Langdon Park <br />Lot 5, Block 5, including adjoining vacated 34’ of Kelly Avenue, City of Orono, <br />Hennepin County, Minnesota (hereinafter "the property"); and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has applied for a conditional use permit to allow the <br />continued use of a residence strucmre as a guest house on the property and an area variance as <br />property consists of 73,008 s.f. or 1.68 acres where 87,120 s.f. or 2 acres is required. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br />Minnesota; <br />FINDINGS <br />1. <br />2. <br />This application was reviewed as Zoning File #1942. <br />The rropenv is located in the LR-IB Singie Family Ukeshore <br />District requiring one acre in area.
