ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MINUTES FOR JANUARY 22.1996 1 2 ]99g <br />ROLL <br />The Council met on the above date with the following memhers present- Mayor Fdward <br />J Callahan, Jr., Gabriel Jabbour, J. Diann Goetten, and JoEllen Hurr. Charles KeUey was <br />absent. Representing Staff were City Administrator Ron Moorse, City Attorney Tom <br />Barrett, Building and Zoning Administrator Jeanne Mabusth, City Engineer Glenn Cook, <br />and Recorder Sherry trost. Mayor Callahan called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />(*#1) CONSENT AGENDA <br />Item #3 was added to the Consent Agenda. <br />Hurt movei. Goetten seconded, to approve the Consent Agenda as amended. Vote. <br />Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />(*#2) REGULAR MEETING OF JANUARY 8,1996 <br />Hurr moved. Goetten seconded, to approve the Minutes of the Regular City Council <br />Meeting of January 8, 1996. Vote; Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />PARK COMMISSION COMMENTS <br />Park Commissioner Use had no comments at this time. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION COMMENTS <br />I here was no representativ e of the Planning Commission present. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />George Johnson, 879 N. Brown Road, commented that he was applying for sewer. He <br />said he has met with his neighbors and asked about the timeline for sewering <br />Jabbour said the MUSA amendment would be decided by the Met Council in the next 3-4 <br />months. <br />Johnson asked if there was any way he could be of assistance noting his ability to contact <br />legislators. Goetten told him to stay tuned and noted the need for the amendment <br />proposal to move forward before any contact with legislators.
