MN <br />John Anderson, EnviroData, Minneapolis, MN delineated and documented wetlands <br />boundaries on the subject property on January 13lh, 1997 at the request of Bob <br />Carlson. This report provides information as to the dominant wetland characteristics at <br />the site as result of the investigation. The parameters of the wetland/upland <br />boundaries are provided in each delineation report form as this information is <br />redundant below. Please review documentation of these findings (referenced in report <br />and site plan). A sketch of the staked wetland boundaries is included in the report. <br />LOCATION <br />Lot 1, Block 1, Ten Oak Division <br />NE1/4, SW1/4, Section 25 <br />T117, R23 <br />Hennepin County, Minnesota <br />METHODOLOGY <br />Wetlands were identified and delineated using the 1987 Corps of Engineers Wetlands <br />Delineation Manual (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. 1987) Revisions to the former <br />method have been proposed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and are <br />currently under review. Pending the adoption of these revisions, the U.S. army Corps <br />of Engineers is applying the 1987 Corps Wetlands Delineation Manual . The wetland <br />and/or deep water habitat were classified according to the methodologies set forth In <br />Wetlands of the United States (USFWS Circular 39, Shaw and Fredine, 1971) and <br />Classification of Wetlands and Deep water Habitats of the United States (FWS/OBS <br />Publication 79/31; Cowardin et. al.1979). <br />CHARACTERISTICS OF WETLANDS INVESTIGATED <br />Transect A.#l <br />This is a Type Three (PEM1F) wetland checksite. Dominant species are Lake Sedge <br />(OBL), River Bulrush (OBL) and Cattail (OBL). Soils are Glencoe, a wetland soil. <br />Surface hydrology evidence is met, as soil is in in a wetland drainage pattern. <br />Transect A.#l! <br />This is a Type One (PF01 A) wetland checksite. Dominant species are Black Willow <br />(OBL), American Elm (FACW-), Red Maple (FAC), Green Ash (FACW) and Common <br />Buckthorn (FAC-). Soils are mapped as Glencoe, a wetland soil. Surface hydrology <br />is met. Site is in a wetland drainage pattern.
