Vi •ATTACHMENT <br />In 1991 Minnegasco arranged for an additional delivery point from <br />Northern Natural Gas Company at North Branch Road and Painters <br />Creek Drive. Natural gas mains were installed to provide <br />additional service to Orono, Minnetrista, Independence, Maple <br />Plain, and Loretto. <br />In 1993 Minnegasco extended a high pressure transmission line from <br />Lake Street and Minnetonka Boulevard in Excelsior to Hopkins <br />Crossroad and Minnetonka Boulevard in Minnetonka. This pipeline, <br />indirectly, provides additional gas supplies for the northwest Lake <br />Minnetonka area through gas mains along T.H. 12, County Roads 15 <br />and 51 and Medina Road and County Road 101. <br />Additional project are planned in the northwest Lake Minnetonka <br />area. Currently planned is a project on County Road 84, between <br />County Road 51 and Fairview Lane to connect two systems together <br />and provide reinforcement in the area. <br />Another project is planned in conjunction with a Hennepin County <br />road reconstruction project along County Road 6 between Townline <br />Road and Orchard Park Road to tie two systems together and provide <br />additional gas supplies in that area. The Hennepin County project <br />has been proposed for a number of years. It has been postponed for <br />at least the past two years. Completion of this project may <br />eliminate the need for the vaporizer station. <br />Other projects in the area are currently in development. The final <br />design ^nd statue of chese projects depends on development and <br />population growth in the area. <br />6
