Variances are required for <br />lakeshore setback and hardcover in the O' to 75 ā lakeshore setback. The amount of hardcover <br />allowed n the O' to 75' lakeshore setback at the recommendation of the Planning Commission is <br />4,415 s.f (15.3%). The applicant is proposing 4,413 s.f (15.3%) Exhibit AA is the hardcover <br />worksheet submitted in response to the Planning Commission recommendation. Exhibit BB shows <br />the proposed lakeside elevation and what will be removed to meet the 15.3% hardcover <br />requirement. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: <br />Planning Commission recommended by a 5 to 0 vote to: <br />1. Approve a lakeshore setback variance of 41' to allow the residence to remain 34' from the <br />929.4' ordinary high water mark where 75' is required. <br />2. Approve a hardcover variance of 4,415 s.f. (15.3%) in the O' to 75' where 5,815 s.f. <br />(20%) is existing and none is allowed. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />To approve or amend the enclosed resolution.
