Council is to meei. on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month. The only <br />exception is May, when the fourth Monday is Memorial Day. Therefore, the Council meeting is <br />scheduled on the fourth Tuesday, May 26. Continuing with past years’ practice, only one Council <br />meeting is scheduled in December. <br />Planning Commission is scheduled to meet the 3rd Monday of the month. January and February are <br />the exceptions because of Monday holidays. In ■‘se months the meetings will be on the third <br />Tuesday. In past years there has not been a me g of the Planning Commission scheduled in <br />December. It may be necessary to hold a Planning, Jommission meeting in December to avoid a <br />problem with the 60 day land ir Jr^Ijion rule. The third Monday in December is the 21st which <br />is not a good date for a meeting Su:tf will work with the Planning Commission to determine a date <br />that wall work in December. . ae other alternative is to schedule a special Planning Commission <br />meeting in December if a meeting is necessary. In 1998 the regular starting time for Planning <br />Commission will be 6:30 p.m. <br />Park Commission meetings are scheduled for the first Monday of the month. The only exception <br />is September w'hen the meeting is the first Tuesday because of a Monday holiday. <br />All holidays are indicated wdth an "X" and Thursday, December 24 is shown as a designated holiday. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />I.*vtion to amend/approve/table the 1998 Meeting Schedule.
