MN 55391-8800 <br />RE: MCWD Permit Application No. 97-176 <br />Dear Mr. and Mrs. Whitehead: <br />The Minnehaha Creek Watershed District Board of Managers reviewed the above <br />mentioned permit application at their Board meeting on October 23. 1997. It was the <br />action of the Board to approve this application with 'he following conditions: <br />• The Board of Man.Vi:*''S granted a variance from MCWD Rule B in that a <br />contribution to the regional stonnwatcr ponding fund will not be required for your <br />project. Due to the nature of the terrain and presence of wetlands on the site it was <br />determined that most of the stormwater runoff would infiltrate on-site. Therefore <br />stormwater treatment would not be required. <br />Payment of Rule J fees in the amount of $347.00 <br />Reimbursement of mailing costs in the amount of $24.76. <br />Due to the size and complexity of certain projects, the Board, by Rule J, requires that site <br />inspections be conducted. In these cases, the applicant is required to pay to the District, a <br />fee equal to the actual costs of analysis of the project, field inspection, engineering <br />services, legal services, and any subsequent monitoring of the work. These costs are <br />referred to as Rule J fees. <br />Once the above conditions have been met staff will Issue the permit.
