Pay: Increase pay ranges by 3.0% <br />2.Insurance Contribution: $15.00 per month increase to a maximum contribution of $328.50 <br />per month. <br />3.Mileage Reimbursement Rate: Increase from $.3 1/mile to $.32 per mile for the use of a <br />personal vehicle for city business. <br />Compensation Ac^Justment Criteria <br />An outline of the criteria on which pay and insurance adjustments are generally based is <br />as follows: <br />A. Pay Adjustment Criteria <br />1.Cost of living increase <br />a.) US consumer price index; annualized increase from October '96 to <br />October '97 is 2.2%. <br />b.) Minneapolis/St. Paul consumer price index: annualized increase from <br />the first half of 1996 to the first half of 1997 (July '96 to July '97) is 2.7%. <br />2.Market comparison: <br />Comparable cities both in the Lake area and throughout the Metro area are <br />considering pay adjustments for 1998 of 3.0%. <br />m. ■* . <br />■ i
