This involved the adoption of a set of housing <br />goals and the development of a housing action plan. These are now in place. The housing element <br />of the city ’s Comprehensive Plan will be updated as part of the overall Comprehensive Plan update <br />process to be completed in 1998. <br />A new resolution is needed each year to continue the city's participation in the Metropolitan Livable <br />Commimities Act. A resolution is attached for Council adoption. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Motion to adopt a resolution renewing the city's participation in the Metropolitan Livable <br />Communities Act Local Housing Incentive Program for calendar year 1998.
