After a number of neighborhood meetings, <br />the residents signed petitions requesting a sewer project arid indicating their willingness to pay 100 <br />per cent of the project cost. The estimated cost of the project per unit was $29,800. Due to very <br />poor soils in a portion of the project, substantial additional costs for directional boring versus open <br />cutting were incurred. This has increased the per unit cost by $1,900 or 6.4% to $31,700 per unit. <br />A resolution reflecting this per unit cost is attached for Council adoption. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQiJESTED: <br />Motion to approve a resolution adopting the assessment roll for the Bracketts Point sewer project.
