MINUTES OF THE ORONO PLANNING COMMISSION
MEETING HELD ON SEPTEMBER 15, 1997
Smith and Lindquist agr eed with the runoflf problem. Lindquist suggested the applicant
work with the City Engineer. While noting the developer is not responsible for the current
problems, they do, however, need to be corrected.
Lindquist moved, Schroeder seconded, to table Application #2294. Vote: Ayes 7, Nays
0.
(The meeting was recessed for 7 minutes.)
(#4) #2298 CONLEY BROOKS, JR. AND JOHN BROOKS, 905/980 FERNDALE
ROAD WEST - SUBDIVISION OF A LOT LINE REARRANGEMENT - PUBUC
HEARING 9;39<10:21 P.M.
The Affidavit of Publication and Certificate of Mailing were noted.
The Applicant was present.
! ^Gaffion reported that the application is a request to detach Lot 13, North Shore Cottage
Acres from 905 West Feradale, and legally combine it with the Conley Brooks properties
located across the lagoon. Parcels A, E, H, and F. This is designated as a Class I
subdivision as no plat is required as it was previously platted. Gaffion noted that another
Ipgal opinion on title work is being conducted on a similar property. Gaffion indicated
that the reattachment of the property to property across the lagoon from it makes sense as
the property is only accessed by water. The code does not address this issue.
•-4% ■ . 4^. > .»• *
