This <br />proposal eliminates the need for a side setback variance. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: <br />The Planning Commission recommended by a 5 to 2 vote to: <br />1. Approve a 10' by 20' deck with a stairway and landing in lieu of the proposed 12' by <br />26' deck. <br />2. Approve a front setback variance of 9.8' allowing the deck to be located 20.2 from <br />the front lot line where 30' is required. <br />3. Approve a structural coverage variance of 10.6% to allow 25.6% coverage where 22% <br />is existing and 15% is required. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />To approve or amend the enclosed resolution.
