H. Dahlmeier Engineering, Inc. has been retained to provide a structural engineering <br />review of the existing foundation regarding construction of the new addition arid <br />remodeling for the residence at 1385 Rest Point Road, Orono, MN, as directed by David <br />Rahn, owner of the residence. No other structural engineering is provided. <br />RACKGROUND <br />The Rahn’s intend to construct an addition and remodel the e.xisting residence.^ The City <br />of Orono Building Inspection Department requires a structural engincei.ng review of the <br />existing foundation. <br />OBSERVATIONS AND COMMENTS <br />1. A. site visit was conducted by J. H. Dahlmeier of J. H. Dahlmeier Engineering, Inc. on <br />July 23,1997. <br />2. Documents for the proposed construction as provided to the City include five sheets <br />and were provided to me by the owner. <br />3.
