r <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE <br />TO MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br />SECTION 10.24, SUBDIVISION 5 (B) <br />FILE NO. 2282 <br />WHEREAS, Valerie Peterson (hereinafter "the applicant") is the ovsmer of the <br />property located at. 1125 North Arm Drive within the City of Orono (hereinafter "the City") <br />and legally described as follows: <br />Lots 23 and 30, also that part of Lots 22 and 31 lying north of the south 14.5 <br />feet thereof, Skarp and Lindquist ’s Femhill, Lake Minnetonka, Hennepin County, <br />Minnesota (hereinafter "the property"); and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has applied to the City for a variance to Municipal <br />Zoning Code Section 10.24, Subdivision 5 (B) to permit the construction of a new single <br />family residence on a lot of 0.60 acre in area and 85' in width where a lot area of 1.00 acre <br />and 140' in width is normally required. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br />Minnesota: <br />1. <br />2. <br />3. <br />4. <br />FINDINGS <br />This application was reviewed as Zoning File #2282. <br />The property is located in the LR-IB Single Family Lakeshore Residential <br />Zoning District. <br />Tlie Orono City Council on August 11, 1997 unanimously waived reference of <br />this application to the Planning Commission and directed that a public hearing <br />be held on August 25, 1997. <br />The Orono City Council held a public hearing and reviewed this application on <br />August 25, 1997, and made the following findings: <br />Page 1 of 5
