Subdivision § 11.03 <br />55. "Setbackā - The minimum horizontal distance <br />between a structure, system, or facility and a natural feature, <br />property line, right-of-way line, OHWL, structure, system, or other <br />facility. <br />Source: Ordinance 101, 2nd Series <br />Adopted: 2-24-92 <br />'56, "Sewage Treatment System, On-Site" - A device or <br />series of interconnected components designed, installed and main <br />tained for the purpose of safely treating and disposing of sewage <br />and domestic waste, whenever such system is not part of a municipal <br />sewer system. <br />a. "Individual System" - A system serving an <br />individual building, typically a single family residence. <br />b. "Collective System" - A system serving two <br />or more buildings, typically including individual septic tanks <br />connected to a common soil treatment and absorption area. <br />c. "Commercial System" - A system serving any <br />non-residential building. <br />57. "Screening" - A man-made or natural visual <br />barrier of a type that will form a year-round dense screer^ <br />59. "Shoreline" - A line denoting the ordinary high <br />water elevation of any lake, stream or other body of water, which <br />ordinary high water elevation shall be as established by the <br />Minnehaha Creek Watershed District, Department of Natural Resources <br />or any other agency, whichever elevation is the highest. <br />60. "Slope" - Vertical distance in feet per 100 feet <br />of horizontal distance. <br />61. "Street" - See Roadways. <br />62. "Structure" - Anything, or part thereof, which <br />is built, constructed or erected, an edifice or building of any <br />kind, or any piece of work artificially built up or composed of <br />parts joined together in some definite manner, which requires a <br />location on, below or above the ground, land, or water, or attached <br />to something having a location on the ground, land, or water. <br />Source: Ordinance 101, 2nd Series <br />Adopted: 2-24-92 <br />ORONO CC 423 (4-1-84) <br />I <br />* * *
