Long Lake Volunteer Fire Dept. <br />1964 Park Avenue <br />Long Lake, Minnestota 55356 <br />Office; 612-473-9701 • Fax: 476-9622 <br />kstr; <br />April 7,1997 <br />• <br />Jordan Fire Department <br />116 East First St. <br />Jordan, MN 55352 <br />Dear Fire Chief: <br />On behalf of the entire Long Lake Volunteer Fire Department, I would like to e.xtend a sincere “Thank <br />You” for allowing us to tour your fire station. <br />^ Saturday, Fdjruaiy 8, three members of our department spent the morning on the road looking at other <br />departments' fire apparatus and fire station set up. We arriv^ at your station at approximately 8:00 AM. <br />I am truly grateful that a member of your department qjent over an hour giving us a tour of the station and <br />the current fire apparatus. While I can ’t remember his name, this gendeman offered a great deal of <br />knowledge and information about both your equipment and your station design. <br />We are cumntly in the process of designing 2 new fire units, one being a light rescue luiit and the other <br />being a utility unit Your new 4 door pick up, which looks great, is one of the options we are Hi!cni«iiig <br />In addition to fire apparatus, we will be building a new fire station within the next 3-5 years due to <br />changes in the Highway 12 fireeway corridor. <br />Once again, please extend a sincere thank you to the firefighter which took the time to give u? this tour. <br />Sincerely, <br />Steve Persian <br />First Lieutenant <br />HCVSP <br />cc: Mike Brown, LLFD Chief <br />Chris Kelley, LLFD Asst Chief
