I= 1 <br />f <br />B:.r <br />^li <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING VARIANCES <br />TO MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br />SECTION 10.28, SUBDIVISION 5 <br />FILE NO. 2242 <br />WHEREAS, Wayne A. Johnson (hereinafter "the applicant") is the owner of the <br />property located at 1225 Lakeview Avenue within the City of Orono (hereinafter "the City") <br />and legally described as follows: <br />Lots 14, 15, and 16, Block 1, Maxwell's Addition to Crystal Bay, Hennepin <br />County, Minnesota (hereinafter "the property"); and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has applied to the City for a variance to Municipal <br />Zoning Code Section 10.28, Subdivision 5 to allow a 569.88 sq. ft. garage addition to an <br />existing residence. A variance for a front yard setback of 34.06' where 50' is required and <br />34.06' is existing is required. <br />Minnesota: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br />FINDINGS <br />1. <br />2. <br />This application was reviewed as Zoning File #2242. <br />The property is located in the RR-IB One Family Rural Residential Zoning <br />District where the minimum lot area required is two acres. <br />3.The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on June 16, 1997 and <br />recommended approval of the proposed variance based upon the following <br />unique findings and hardships: <br />A.
