Assuming a project <br />construction cost range of $800,000 to S1.2 million, our proposed fee <br />for preliminary engineering and final design Is based on a project <br />construction cost of $ 1 million. <br />Phase I — Preliminary Engineering (Feasibility Study) = $25,200 <br />If an environmental assessment Is required, those services would be <br />provided for additonal compensation on an hourly basis. <br />Phase II — Design Plans/Bid Assistance = $47,000 <br />These costs do not Include materials testing or geotechnical analysis. We <br />would use subconsultants for these tasks or use a firm chosen by the <br />City. The estimated cost for these services Is $ 1 1,000. <br />We propose to complete the construction phase (Phase III) on an hourly <br />basis. Our experience Indicates that costs may range from $75,000 to <br />$ 1 1 0,000 for a project of this type and complexity, based on full-time <br />Inspection. Our billing rate schedule Is attached.
