A RESOLUTION APPROVING <br />A METES AND BOUNDS SUBDIVISION <br />OF TAX FORFEIT PROPERTY <br />PINS NO. 07-117-23 23 0001 <br />FILE NO. 2165 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized and existing <br />under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono (hereinafter "City Council") has <br />adopted subdivision regulations for the orderly, economic and safe development of land within the <br />City; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the application for a metes and bounds <br />subdivision by the City of Orono (hereinafter "the subdivider") of property legally described as <br />follows: <br />(PINS #07-117-23 23 0001): <br />That part of the Northwest quarter of Section 7, Township 117, Range 23 described as <br />follows: <br />Beginning at a point in the westerly line of "Tonkaview Gardens Hennepin County <br />Minn." distant 1320 feet south as measured at right angles from the north line of said <br />northwest quarter; thence west parallel with said north line to a point in a line running <br />from a point in said north line of the northwest quarter distant 402.5 feet east from <br />the nonhwest comer of said northwest quarter to a point in the south line of said <br />northwest quarter distant 396.5 feet east from the southwest comer of said northwest <br />quarter; thence southerly along the last-described line to the northerly line of that <br />portion of the alley, as dedicated on and adjoining the northerly line of Lot 5 , in <br />Bergquist and Wicklund's Addition to Bergquist and Wicklund's Park Hennepin <br />County Minnesota; thence easterly along s ud northerly line a distance 137.24 feet <br />to the angle point in said line; thence southeasterly along said northerly line of said <br />alley a distance 169.39 feet to the most northerly comer of Lot 2, Bergquist and <br />Wicklund's Addition to Bergquist and Wicklund's Park Hennepin County Minnesota; <br />Page 1 of 3
