Staff'does not anticipate that the variance would have a negative impact on comfort, safety, <br />or morals. Staff suggests that the location of the new garage and residence is an <br />improvement relative to the roadway and the side yards, <br />12. The granting of such variance will not merely serve as a convenience to the applicant, <br />but is necessary to alleviate demonstrable hardship or difficulty. <br />Staff has not been inside the structure and cannot attest to the convenience to the applicant <br />to construct a new residence vs. living in the existing residence.
