LAND&VEGETA-nON alterations IN BLUFF IMPACT ZONE. All <br />areas to be disturbed within defined bluff impact zones shall be subject to: <br />i. Adherence to the revised (pudiny and vegetation removal plans <br />attached hereto as Exhibit B*12. <br />il. Use of Be«,l Management Practices for erosion control during <br />constructiort including but not limited to use of silt fencing and <br />erosion control blankets where slopes exceed 3:1. <br />iii. Any reiainirig walls exceeding 4' in height must have an engineered <br />design, which shall bo appros'cd prior to issuance of the site grading <br />permit. <br />C. WETLAND ALlTilRATIONS. Wetland alterations are approved as shown <br />in attached Exhibits B6 through B«'J2, subject to the required bulTer widths as shown in said <br />Exhibit, and subject to the followir^ conditions: <br />i. Use of Best Management Practices for erosion control during <br />construction. <br />ii. Wetland miration is subject to approval of the Minnehaha Creek <br />Watershed District as Orono's LGU for admlalstration of the W'ctland <br />Conservation Act <br />Hi. Wetland aliajntions arc also subject to Corps of Engineers Section 404 <br />Clean Water Act requirements. <br />iv. Conservation and Flowagc Easements shall be granted to the City <br />over all City‘protected wetlands (as modified). <br />FOREST fNfPACT M1N1MIZAT1C5N. MinimiTaiiOQ of impacLs U) the Big Woods portion <br />of the property, os well as to other forested areas of the property, shall adhere to the tbibwing <br />general requirements; <br />A. Welland buffers shall be maximirjjd to the grcal '«t extent possible in forest <br />arena to protect the wildlife habitat value of the site and maintain the connectivity between <br />the wetland and forest communities’.' <br />B. RunotT or Rccidental »pplic«tion of fertilizers to forest and wcila»»d areas shall <br />be avoided.
