The telecommunications ordinance was continued at the Planning Commission's April <br />meeting and will be considered at the May 19 Planning Commission meeting. Due to Memorial Day <br />falling on the fourth Monday of the month (May 26) the Council will not be able to take action on <br />the new ordinance until at least May 27. Therefore it is recommended the moratorium be extended <br />to June 10. This will enable the Council to consider the telecommunications ordinance at its May <br />27 meeting and also provides for an additional Council meeting on June 9 if needed. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Motion to extend the moratorium on telecommunications towers and antennas to June 10,1997
