Wc have the following comments in regards to engineering mailers. <br />1. Retaining Wall: The design prepared by GME Consultanls, Inc. appear.s to be acceptable from <br />an engineering standpoint. The applicant should contact the City at lea.si 48 hours prior to the <br />wall installation to schedule a scrie.s of inspections. The inspectors should verify that the <br />construction recotnmendaiions detailed in the GME report arc implemenlcd in the field. <br />2. Bluff Toe Protection: The random placement of boulders previously done al the properly <br />include.^ boulders placed nearly on top ot each other at a steep slope, with uncompacted fill <br />placed between them. The previously placed boulders should be reinstalled so that there is a <br />horizontal separation between the front and back of the two rows of boulders, in accordance <br />with the cross sectional detail provided with the GME design. <br />2. Erosion Control: Prior to starling the work, proper erosion control measures mast be in place, <br />such as sill fence.
