taxes generated by these two projects would remain in the district and would be available for use to <br />facilitate redevelopment in the district. <br />It is important the Council has an opportunity to obtain as much information as possible about Tax <br />Increment Financing and how it could be used in Navarre. Staff has had preliminary discussions <br />with Sid Inman who is the Tax Increment Financing expert with Ehlers Associates, the city's bond <br />consultant. He is available to meet with the Council to explain and clarify Tax Increment Financing <br />at either a Council meeting or a work session. At this time, I am planning to have Mr. Inman attend <br />the May 12 Council meeting.
